Dipotamou Gorge

Dipotamou Gorge

Dipotamou Gorge

A small gorge in Pano Arodes. The rivers that join the small gorge come from the Kraminos Gorge and the Kakonomos River. They keep water in their bed mainly during the winter and spring months. Many species of trees, wild flowers, as well as aromatic plants, adorn the slopes of the gorge. The fauna of the canyon is great as many species of birds, reptiles and mammals find shelter in the crevices of the limestone rocks.
